Our Services
We provide general landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties throughout Holliston.

Lawn Care
Lawn Mowing
Our mowing season begins around the end of April and continues through late October, with most lawns cut on a weekly schedule. Every visit includes weed whacking along fences, beds, and other hard to reach areas, followed by trimming for a clean, finished look. Regular mowing keeps your grass healthy, neat, and ready to enjoy all season long.
Aeration & Spring and Lawn Restoration
Aeration is performed by pulling small plugs of soil from the lawn, which relieves compaction and allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone. Over the following weeks, those plugs break down and reapply themselves back into the soil, improving the lawn's overall structure. We typically pair aeration with over seeding and starter fertilizer so new grass has the best chance to establish. While fall is the ideal time for this work, spring restoration is also available, and we always ask whether you have irrigation or an invisible dog fence so we can plan carefully.
Lawn Applications
We offer both an 8 step and a 5 step fertilizer program tailored to the condition of your lawn throughout the season. The 8 step program includes fertilizer applications plus combined treatments for weeds, insects, and grubs, while the 5 step program provides fertilizer only. Lime is also applied separately in spring and fall, since it is your best defense against moss.
Seasonal Maintenance
Spring Clean Up & Dethatching
Spring clean ups remove late season leaves, twigs, sand from road runoff, and other debris that has collected over the winter. We often perform dethatching just before the clean up, using a machine that combs through the lawn to lift out weak grass and moss. This opens the turf so air, water, and sunlight can reach the soil and roots more effectively, giving your grass a stronger start to the growing season. Once the thatch is removed, the lawn is in a much better state to receive over seeding or treatments. It is a simple but effective step toward a healthier, fuller lawn.
Fall Clean Up
Fall clean ups run during our busiest window of the year, from early November until the first significant snowfall. We remove leaves and debris from your lawn so they do not smother the grass through the winter months. Because the time between the last leaves falling and the first snow falling can overlap quickly, we encourage customers to consider scheduling multiple visits.

Mulching & Flower Beds
Bark Mulching
After the spring clean up is finished, we edge your beds and install fresh bark mulch to give your property a clean, finished appearance. We offer several mulch options including Red Hemlock, Natural, Pine, and Kid's Play Cushion mulch, so you can choose the look and feel you prefer. Mulching is typically done from late April through mid summer, though we do not recommend applying it too early before the growing season begins. If you have an area where you would like a new mulch bed created, we can put together ideas and make it happen.
Routine Hand Weeding
Routine hand weeding visits are scheduled about every three weeks throughout the growing season to keep your beds neat and weed free. Our crew focuses on pulling weeds by hand, which is the most effective method even when Preen is used for prevention. This program begins in late spring and continues until the first frost in October.

Before / AfterTrimming & Pruning
Bush Pruning
Our bush pruning service shapes and trims overgrown bushes, shrubs, and small trees to keep them healthy and looking manicured. We remove dead branches and overhanging limbs to improve the plant's structure and appearance. For fast growing bushes, we suggest multiple rounds of pruning during the season to stay ahead of growth.
Woods Line Cut Back
Woods line cut back clears the area where your lawn meets the tree line, removing low hanging branches and encroaching growth. This makes mowing easier and safer for our crew, and it gives your lawn a cleaner, more defined edge. We typically handle this service in late summer or fall when time permits, since bush pruning takes priority during the peak season.

Snow Plowing
Residential Snow Plowing
We offer residential driveway snow plowing for homeowners in Holliston throughout the winter season. We offer two trigger options: our Main Snow Plowing route for storms accumulating roughly two inches or more, and our Zero Tolerance route for any accumulation, which is ideal for steep or difficult driveways. Driveway snow stakes are mandatory and must be installed by November 1st so our operators can clearly see your boundaries.
Shoveling
Shoveling is available for walkways and stairs on properties that also use our snow plowing service. Hand shoveling in front of garage doors is always included with our snow plowing service. Shoveling visits are scheduled as part of our snow routes during and after each storm.
